What problems does your organization solve for the people it serves? What is the mission of your non-profit? What are the tips and tricks you've learned in the course of your career that demonstrate the value of your counsel? These, and a thousand other topics are the perfect themes for this nifty 8 page, 4 by 5 inch booklet. Once you've written the text, you print your booklet out on a single sheet of paper, front and back, trim it in half, fold it, and staple it - a book, start-to-finish in an hour or less.
There is something about a simple, miniature book that draws readers to it - an interesting "substance" that makes a booklet enticing. It can make your book a highly effective marketing tool. You can use the same format for creating a mini-catalog of the products or services you offer, a directory of people and locations, or the rules and regulations of your organization.
The example shows how a booklet produced by a builder's coop might provide answers to common questions about finding, choosing, and using a custom builder. Though the booklet is 99 percent educational - the marketing message remains loud and clear.
Creating your version is easy - the top half of the first template page represents the front and back covers of the booklet. The rest of the pages, 2 through 7 are already numbered and ready for you to insert your text and graphics. Print your finished booklet out on a single sheet, back to back. Then trim the sheet in half, horizontally, using the cut lines in the center of the page. Place the pages in order, fold them lengthwise, and staple the finished booklet.
Once you've tested the booklet with a representative group of customers and have it fine-tuned, print a master copy of the pages and take them to a commercial printer to have it reproduced in quantity and saddle-stitched (bound with staples).
All templates are compatible with the C5000 Series, C7000 Series and C9000 Series digital color printers from OKI® Printing Solutions.
