These documents work with either Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint 97 or later. You simply download the file and open it in Word or PowerPoint as you would any other document.

Please be sure to save the templates to your hard drive, before making your own changes.

The documents are created using fonts common to most Windows systems. If you want to use the exact fonts or graphics shown in the examples, you can purchase them from the vendors listed in the Sources list. Substitute your fonts by modifying the associated style. Your user guide or help menu explains how to substitute your fonts under "modify style."

Microsoft Word documents Note that when using Microsoft Internet Explorer, the Microsoft Word documents will automatically open in your browser, with limited Microsoft Word functions available. It is important to save the templates directly to your hard drive, and open them in Microsoft Word, in order to make use of all available formatting functions.

The documents include filler text or "placeholders." The text is there to show the font selections, sizes and alignment of text. The numbers in parentheses (50) show the word count. To replace the placeholder with your own text, click your mouse pointer at the beginning of the paragraph, drag it to select the text you want to replace and start typing.

It is important to save the templates directly to your hard drive, and open them in Microsoft PowerPoint, in order to make use of all available formatting functions.

The documents show the font selections, sizes and alignment of text. To change the text, click your mouse pointer on the text, select the text you want to replace and start typing. To replace an image, click on the existing image and delete. Then, choose “Insert” from the menu bar, choose “Picture” from the menu, and choose ”From file...”. Choose the image file you want to insert. You can size the image by clicking on any corner box and drag to the desired size.
