RECHARGEABLE BATTERY RECYCLING
Disposing of rechargeable batteries using curb-side solid waste pickup service is bad for the environment. Some states and municipalities, such as (but not limited to) the State of New York, have passed extended producer responsibility (EPR) laws that require manufacturers, distributors, or retailers to collect and properly dispose of or recycle rechargeable batteries without cost to our customers. These batteries should exhibit an RBRC recycling logo either on an adhesive label or printed directly on the battery pack. The label (see example below) provides a toll-free number to help you locate battery drop-off locations in your area.
TONER RECYCLING
Please follow the instructions below to return your printer toner cartridges or rechargeable battery. OKI will not accept return of non-OKI cartridges or batteries for recycling.
