The Desktop Capture Solution is designed to make your OKI Printing Solutions MFP more productive and easier to use, through Scanner Enhancement Technology (SET™). PDF-based workflow

No other solution lets you work as easily with PDF documents as PaperPort: scan documents to PDF, search PDFs, annotate and highlight PDFs, merge PDF files, create secure PDFs, and more. PaperPort Professional 12 comes with ScanSoft® PDF Create! – an Adobe® Acrobat®-compatible PDF utility. It also features PDF-MRC High Compression technology, allowing you to scan color documents into fi le sizes that are up to eight times smaller than regularly scanned color PDF documents.

Accurate OCR capability

Unlock the information stored in paper documents by turning scanned documents into text files that can be edited, copied and pasted into e-mail or scanned directly into new word-processing/spreadsheet files. The OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature in PaperPort® allows you to index all of your scanned documents with unsurpassed accuracy, ensuring high-quality search results.

Document assembly and stacking

PaperPort features a unique "split desktop" design that displays thumbnail views of individual pages alongside full document thumbnails, enabling simple document assembly. Drag and drop entire documents into a second document, or selectively copy and paste individual pages from one PDF document into another. Quickly assemble custom PDF documents by combining scans and photos with word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation files.
