Conference attendees to participate in the OKI “Color Lab” experiment to reinforce the importance of color in the classroom for K-12 schools
OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI® Printing Solutions brand, will be attending the 2010 International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) show in Denver, CO at booth #1133. The company will be conducting an onsite research experiment in the booth’s “Color Lab” to prove color materials help increase learning and retention. Show attendees are encouraged to participate in the experiment, which involves questions pertaining to memorization of both color and black and white images. The “Father of Modern Color,” Dr. Ian Stein, will be hosting the experiment. Participants will be blogging about their experience at www.OKIDataAmericasISTE.blogspot.com and the results will be published after the show concludes.
The OKI booth will also showcase color and monochrome products from its full line of printers, multifunction products (MFP) and customized printing solutions that help K-12 administrators better manage their print fleets and achieve a lower total cost of ownership (TCO). The devices are faster and have higher duty cycles allowing schools to affordably bring color into the classroom and help administrators maximize technology budgets without sacrificing quality output.
“The portfolio of products and solutions that we’re showcasing at ISTE are designed to help schools increase print efficiencies, utilize color in the classroom and better manage print technologies overall,” said Bernadette Carey, MPS & Industry Marketing Manager at OKI Data Americas. “We understand the impact color materials have in the classroom which is why OKI is committed to providing products and solutions that maximize IT budgets and enable schools to effectively utilize color printing to enhance each student’s learning experience.”
OKI Printing Solutions designs high-value, low-cost print solutions that allow educators to enhance learning through the use of color in the classroom.
OKI Printing Solutions also provides reliable and versatile monochrome devices with fast print speeds and a low TCO.
All OKI Printing Solutions products are built on parent company OKI Data Corporation’s history of leadership and innovation in color printing, such as digital LED technology and Single Pass Color™. This technology allows OKI Data Americas to manufacture products that require fewer moving parts for increased reliability.
