OKI Printing Solutions Introduces the MC860 A3 Color MFP Series - The First in its Class to Combine Wide-Format Color MFP Functionality with a Unique Compact Size and Affordable Price

OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI® Printing Solutions brand, today announces the launch of the MC860 A3 color multifunction printer (MFP) Series. The Series is the first in its class to deliver A3, wide-format color MFP functionality with flexible media handling and High-Definition (HD) color output, at an affordable price and compact size[i]. This Series redefines the medium workgroup A3 color MFP market by enhancing in-house, high-quality tabloid color printing, copying, scanning and faxing for businesses of all sizes. Businesses can now increase their productivity with a color MFP that delivers full A4 and A3 capabilities.

The MC860 color MFP makes A3 MFP functionality more accessible to businesses by dramatically reducing complexity, cost and space requirements. The Series allows users to create high-quality, color output in-house and on-demand further saving time and money. All models will allow users to print media from 3”x5” cards to tabloid-sized media in a space saving and affordable package, while utilizing the standard copy, scanning and faxing functionalities. The MC860 color MFP features the following key attributes:
- Spectacular HD Color Output on a variety of media and 48” banner support
- Print, Copy, Scan and Fax up to tabloid-sized media in one space saving device; supports consolidation initiatives
- Compact size/footprint relative to A3 competitors; only A3 Color MFP that can sit on your desktop[iii]
- Fast print/copy speeds of 26 ppm in color and 33[iv] ppm in black-and-white that improve office efficiency and productivity to maximize small to medium workgroup performance
- Scan to USB Flash Memory Stick, PC, Fax, FTP, folder, and e-mail Standard 33.6 Kbps Super G3 Fax with 16 MB memory (up to 1,024 pages)
- Increased efficiency and media handling capabilities, supporting media weights up to 203 gsm and banners up to 48 inches; expandable to two paper trays for a maximum paper capacity of 1460 sheets
- HD Color technology, combining microfine toner and multilevel LED printheads with 1200 x 600 dpi resolution, ensuring photo-like quality on everyday office paper, delivering consistent color quality and reliability
- Duty cycle of 75,000 pages for increased reliability
- 50 letter-size / 25 tabloid-size sheet RADF Scanner automatically scans both sides of a document
- 5.8” graphic display with touch screen for easy walk-up access to the MFP’s functionality
- Nuance PaperPort (scanning and document management) and OmniPage (OCR) software standard for enhanced productivity
The MC860 MFP includes three models configured to deliver different levels of productivity; Desktop model pricing begins at $3,999; Floor standing model with one tray and a cabinet at $4,459; and Floor standing model with two trays and a cabinet at $4,739.
